The Luck O’ the Irish: 3 St. Patrick’s Day Recipes

Dark Chocolate & Mint Ice Cream Torte Recipe

St. Patrick ’s Day is this Saturday 3/17 and it’s the one day of the year we’re all a little Irish. So, on Saturday plan to wake up with an Irish coffee, dust off ye ol’ bag pipes, mix up some Irish/green treats and hit the streets with a jig in your step. You might just find your lucky pot o’ gold. Here are some of our new favorite St. Patrick’s Day recipes.

Dark Chocolate & Mint Ice Cream Torte (pictured above)

Dark chocolate and mint ice cream go together like Leprechauns and gold (or so I’m told; I have no verification if leprechauns do in fact love gold). Any mint and chocolate combination is welcome in my household regardless of St. Patrick’s Day but it’s especially perfect this time of year.

Irish soda bread has many variations, but my favorite way to change it up is to add chocolate. Who doesn’t love adding a bit o’ chocolate?

And if you start every St. Patty’s day like I do, with an Irish coffee, then it’s only fitting to end it with some Irish Coffee Brownies. These brownies have a hint of whiskey and coffee taste that gives them a truly unique and truly Irish flavor.

These are just a few of our favorites but there are plenty St. Patrick’s Day recipes on meals.com.
